People first. Two free tools came out of it.
Our work is with the children, the therapists, the teachers and the families. These are the tools that grew from it.
Visual Scheduler
For children and families. A mobile app that turns the day into a clear visual sequence, so a child can see what is happening now, what comes next, and what is done. It is made for children with autism, ADHD and learning differences, and shaped by feedback from the parents and educators using it.
- A visual daily schedule a child can follow
- Predictability through the day and at transitions
- Positive reinforcement as each step is completed
- Simple for a child, and quick for a parent to set up
Caregiver Dashboard
For teachers and centre heads. Once centres began using the scheduler, many told us the same thing: they had no simple way to see how things were going, and budgets were tight. So we are designing a tool for the adults.
It gives teachers and centre heads daily, weekly and monthly views: which children took part in which activities, how the programme is going, and where a child may need more support.
Our rules for it
- Free for the centre
- Simple enough to use without training
- No recurring cost, so it does not depend on next year's budget
Status: in development. We are in discussions with Jai Vakeel Foundation about implementation, and with a technology service provider working in the NGO space, so that the tool keeps being maintained over time.
